She was married to the late Albert J. Bruens.
Mrs. Bruens was an Executive Secretary with American Newspaper Publishers Association, New York City.
She is survived by her son, Alan Bruens of Sussex, N.J.; two grandchildren, Michael and Lauren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith and Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2006 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.
