Regina Kay "Cook" Bailey, 53, of Breckenridge, WV went home to be with the Lord and Savior, Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV after a long illness.
She was born July 18, 1967 in Beckley, WV a daughter of the late Billy and Betty Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Lee and James Earl "Toby" Cook. She is survived by her husband, Franklin Bailey; a son, Franklin Cook who she cherished with all her heart; a sister, Gloria Stanley and husband, Scottie; a step-sister, Betty Eads and husband, Lewis; two step-sons, Keith Lusk and David Bailey both of Bolt, WV and two brothers, Richard Cook and Jerry Cook and wife, Beulah "BJ" four step-grandchildren, Tyler Bailey, Braden Lusk, Austin Lusk, Dustin Lusk all of Bolt, WV; lifetime friend, Lisa Bailey; very special friends Michael and Sukie Torian, several nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart. Regina Loved her church family and her Pastor Tommy Newman and wife, Teresa with all her heart.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 3, 2020 At two o clock In the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church at 1822 Saxon Rd Fairdale, WV with Pastor Tommy Newman & Singer Graig Daniels. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service at the church. Interment Adkins Cemetery Naoma, WV Pallbearers Scottie Stanley, David Bailey, Tyler Bailey, Charlie Bailey, Steve Bailey, Michael Torian. "I Have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."
