Mr. Amicucci had been a supervisor at Ecolab, Inc. in Woodbridge for 42 years before retiring in 1983.
He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II serving in the Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland campaigns with the 523rd Fighter Squadron.
He was a 42-year member of the Mountainside Elks Club, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 1585 of Mountainside, and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
His son, the late Cranford Police Officer Nicholas A. Amicucci, died in 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Vallorie Campbell of Spotswood; his son-in-law, Robert "Soupy" Campbell; his daughter-in-law, Deborah Amicucci; a sister, Adeline Albenius of Union; a grandson, Nicholas Amicucci, and a granddaughter, Lauren Hurdich.
