Mr. Aaron David Freeman, 30, of Dewy Rose, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Raleigh, NC.
Born on October 1, 1991 in Elberton, GA, he was the son of David Thomas Freeman and Bea Holmes Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a project manager for Commercial construction. He was of the Baptist faith, and a veteran of the US Navy. Aaron loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors.
Survivors include his parents: David & Bea Freeman of Dewy Rose; two brothers: Wesley Freeman (Kelsey) of Bowman and Caleb Freeman (Grace) of Dewy Rose; paternal grandparents; Tommy & Judy Freeman of Elberton; maternal grandparents: Dan & Janet Holmes of Royston; six nieces & nephews: Shannon, Cole, Madalyn, Hudson, Mary, and Stella Freeman; several aunts and uncles and his girlfriend: Sophia Johnson also survive. Mr. Freeman is preceded in death by one brother: Kyle Freeman.
Mr. Freeman will be placed in the church at 3:00 p.m. and visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Other times the family will be at the home.
Funeral services for Mr. Aaron Freeman will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Daniel Holmes, Robert Huff, Justin Green, Luke Gaines, Logan Gaines and Nick Freeman.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
