llen D. Burkhardt, Sr., 85, passed away on Friday morning, May 20, 2022 at his home.
He was born on August 19, 1936 in Indianapolis, the son of Glen H. and Luella T. (Taylor) Burkhardt and graduated from Ben Davis High School. He served his country honorably in the US Navy from 1956-1958.
Allen worked as a computer technician for 25 years and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Linda K. Burkhardt; three children, Allen D. Burkhardt, Jr. (wife, Lorie), Angela Gamble and Andrea Lewis (husband, Toby); four grandchildren, Rebecca (husband, Bryan), Cody, Cory and Nick; and one brother, Darrell N. Burkhardt (wife, Jackie).
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sons; two brothers, Glen E. Burkhardt and Raymond R. Burkhardt; two sisters, Linda Eyer and Wanda Burkhardt; and his first wife of 20 years, Judie Y. (Rench) Burkhardt.
