Emma Dominguez, 78, of Pine Lodge, 32 Catherine St., died Friday at Newport Hospital. She was the widow of Vincent Domingues.
Born in Nice, France, a daughter of the late Dulany and Alice (Baltazzi) Hunter, she lived in Newport since 1947. Her father was a member of the U.S. Diplomatic Corps.
Mrs. Dominguez was a member of the Newport Preservation Society, the Redwood Library and the Robert Potter League for Animals. She was a graduate of the Convent of the Holy Child, Rome, Italy, and the Holton Arms School, Washington, D.C.
She leaves four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
The funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Trinity Church, Queen Anne Square. Burial will be in St. Mary's Churchyard, Portsmouth.
