Elizabeth Ann Beaird passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was 68 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, May 31st at Star Baptist Church in Star, MS. She will be laid to rest in Star Cemetery following the service.

Ann was born May 31, 1953, in Magee, MS to the late Elmer and Nannie Fortenberry. She was a member of Star Baptist Church in star, MS. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and her very special dog sister. She enjoyed gardening, baking pies and cakes and finding recipes on Facebook to make.

Along with her parents, she is also preceded in by her sister, Jan Fortenberry.

She is survived by her daughter, Katrina (Kenny) Laster of Brandon and Bridget (Justin) McKinney of Brandon; brother, John Willis Fortenberry (Arlean) of Pinola; her grandchildren, Amber (Jay) Cheatham, Devin Cooper, Reese McKinney, and Koby Dash McKinney; one great grandson, Jameson Cheatham; and only niece, Angie Fortenberry.
