He was a Software Engineer and Civil Servant for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and currently a school bus driver for our community schools.
John is survived by his loving wife, Candy S. (Lensch) Hasting, whom he married on July 31, 1980; his loving children, Sam (Melissa) Hasting and Ben (Alex) Hasting.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
