Doris J. Taylor, of Perkasie, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown Township. She was 87.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Catherine A. (Kramar) Taylor. Doris was a graduate of John Bartram High School, Philadelphia.

She had been employed as a secretary for the United States Postal Service, Philadelphia.

Doris was a volunteer at the Sellersville Museum, where she was often the front door greeter and guide. An avid collector, Doris frequently shared some of her keepsakes for the monthly exhibits, whether postcards, photographs, covered bridge memorabilia, military relics, seasonal display items, or Mr. Peanut mementos. She also enjoyed attending collectors' conventions nationwide in these areas of interest.

She was also active with the Bucks County Covered Bridge Society, enjoying excursions and tours with other bridge enthusiasts.

Doris is survived by her brother, Donald E. Taylor, and his wife, Joan, of Blackwood, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Lawnview Memorial Park, Rockledge, PA.
