She was an amazing mother and a wonderful maw-maw. She was a graduate of East Ascension High School and she worked at Woman's Hospital for 18 years.
She is survived by her mother; two sons and one daughter-in-law; one grandson and one granddaughter; four brothers and three sisters-in-law; one stepsister and her husband; father-in-law; two sisters-in-law and their husbands; and 10 nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos "Randy" Jouette; and father, James "Eddie" Braud Sr.
A memorial gathering will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, April 7, from 5 p.m. until service at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in her name at any Regions Bank.
