Mabel Elizabeth Davies was born about 1899 in Fulham, England, to a Welsh family.[1] She was probably the Mabel Emily Elizabeth Davies who was born in 1899 in Fulham, and daughter of Llewellyn Alfred Davies.[2][3]
She emigrated to Canada in 1920[4] (stated to be born in Fulham), and went to Manitoba for work.[5]
She married Ingvard Nielsen at Brandon, Manitoba, on 10 October 1921.[6] They had three sons:[7]
Gordon Ingvard, b. 22 June 1922
Erik Hersholt, b. 24 February 1924
Leslie William, b. 11 February 1926
The five of them were enumerated in Edmonton in 1926.[4]
