Kay F. Miller, age 69, of Reedsville, formerly of Cato, died on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1938, in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Joseph and Alvina (Tisler) Duckart. Kay was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1957. On May 10, 1958, she married Eugene L. Miller at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Kay was a card club member for more than 30 years.
Survivors include her husband: Eugene Miller, Reedsville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Mitch Miller, Cato, and Monte and Nancy Miller, Manitowoc; a granddaughter: Katie; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Vivian and Herman Sprang, Reedsville; Charlotte and Myron Anderson, Madison; and Bonnie Stehula, Manitowoc; a brother-in-law: Allen Miller, rural Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Marion and Greg Blanchard, Green Bay, and Rita Muench, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Melanie Miller in 2002; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arnold and Margaret Miller; a brother-in-law: Roger Stehula; and a sister-in-law: Nancy Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David immerman. Cremation will take place at a later date, with burial of the cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 4 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7 p.m.
The visitation will continue on Wednesday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
