Terry was born on February 11, 1975 to Donald Ambrose and Colleen Mock.
He was a 1993 graduate of Arlington High School and was employed at The Indiana Women's Prison for 24 years.
Terry was a very happy person who had a life revolving around family and laughter. He enjoyed working out in his home gym, baking, and tending to his garden as Master Gardener. He looked forward to attending Symphony on the Prairie and always loved the 4th of July. He loved his country and playing Rummy. He could also be found rewatching the Rocky movies on full blast. He had recently bought tickets to see the new Top Gun Maverick movie which was going to be the best movie ever! In memory of Terry, go see the new Top Gun movie.
Left to cherish his memory is his adoring wife of 24 years, Charissa Ambrose; son, Donald Terry Ambrose III; brother, Sean Ambrose; sister, Diane Cline; Stepfather, Joe Williams; and beloved kitty cats, Boots and Onyx.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ronnie Standeford; and kitty cat Smokey.
Funeral service will be held at Flanner Buchanan–Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Indianapolis Humane Society.
