Norman E. Bellis, 57, of 1015-1/2 East Wilson Street in Streator, died November 9, 1996 at St. Mary's Hospital. He had been ill for the past year.
There will be no services. He was cremated. Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home in Streator has charge of arrangements.
He was born August 21, 1939 in Streator, a son of Joseph and Irene (Matas) Bellis. He married Sharon L. King on January 7, 1961. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters: Tammy Jean Knickerbocker, Norma Jean Vice and Virginia Louise Bellis, all of Streator; 11 grandchildren; a sister: Sharon Bellis of San Diego, California; brothers: Ronald, Dean and Joseph Bellis, all of Streator; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was formerly employed by Conrail Railroad.
