Lelia Bell Stowers, 80 of Pocahontas, died Thursday June 2, 2022 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born August 31, 1941 in Walnut Ridge to Ermer Wicker & Margie Fry Wicker. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, and mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her cherished family. She was a member of the Skaggs Church of Christ.

Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, Ermer and Margie; her husband, Harold Dene Stowers; brothers, J. C. Wicker and Thelbert Wicker; and sisters, Nadine Murphy and Wanda Black.

She is survived by sons, Harold (Tina) Stowers of Ravenden, Rick (Cathey) Stowers of Hoxie; sisters, Shirley Scott of Hoxie, Barbara (Tom) Lamb of Hoxie; grandsons, Blair (Jamie) Stowers of Walnut Ridge; Rickey (Andrea) Stowers of Hoxie, Chris (Beth) Stowers of Clover Bend; granddaughter, Haley (Dewayne) Haney of Alabama; great grandchildren, Austin, Henry, Spencer, Jackson, Everett, Graham, Bekah, Noah, Elim, and Archer.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Blair Stowers, Henry Stowers, Rickey Stowers, Austin Stowers, Jackson Stowers, and Chris Stowers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Black, Tom Lamb, Jim Murphy, and Leon and Berna Guntharp.

Visitation will be at House-Gregg Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1 until 3 pm with the funeral beginning at 3pm. Gerald Fears will be officiating the service. Interment will be at Lawrence Memorial Park. House Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
