Stop tho'tfull Passenger! & shed a tear over
this grave; which shelters a man known to
misfortunes from his early days, misfortunes
which he resisted with courage or submitted
to with patience; together with a
distressing disease, whose violence after
many years distroyd his fortitude & at
length his life. A man whose heart was
accustomd to commiserate & whose steps
hastened to alleviate affliction.
