William Ernest Millay, 72, of Lake Worth, FL, died Friday, September 2, 1988, at his home, according to his sister, Clara McDaniel of Whitesville. He was born in Knottsville, was a retired truck driver, a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Lake Worth and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Carline Basham Millay; two sons, Rick & Stephen Millay, both of Lake Worth; a daughter, Joan Barnett of West Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren; one brother, Gordon W. "Dub" Millay of Whitesville; and three other sisters, Kathleen Kirk and Mary Patterson, both of Owensboro, and Helena Colyer of Greenville. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Catholic Church. Visitation Monday at Dorsey Funeral Home, Lake Worth, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Burial in Memory Gardens, Lake Worth.
