Edwin J. Perry

PORT ORANGE, Fla.—Edwin J. Perry, 81, died Saturday, April 24, 1993, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Maria Teresa (Abreu) Perry and son of the late Joseph A. and Candida (Lopes) Perry.

He died at home in Florida.

He was born in New Bedford and lived there for most of his life before moving to Florida three years ago. He was formerly employed by Browne's Pharmacy in New Bedford as a pharmacist.

Mr. Perry was a World War II Army veteran and served in Paris.

Survivors include his widow; three brothers, Vasco Perry of New Bedford, Entenon Perry of Fairhaven and Henry Perry of Germany; five sisters, Adilina Baptista, Ella Perry, Regina Perry and Anna Perry, all of Fairhaven and Florence Brown of Boston; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements will be the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.

PERRY—Of Port Orange, FL, April 24, 1993, Edwin J. 81, husband of Maria Teresa (Abreu) Perry, brother of Vasco Perry of New Bedford, Henry Perry of Germany, Florence Brown of Boston, Adilina Baptista, Ella Perry, Regina Perry, Anna Perry, and Entenon Perry, all of Fairhaven, nephew of Roy Lombard of Wareham. Committal Services were held Saturday morning at Acushnet Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the International Church of the Nazarene at a later date.
