Anna Maria was born in Germany, or Prussia, depending on what census record is looked at. Her maiden name is unknown at this time, but she married Frank Zingsheim (Singsheim) in New York around 1867, it is assumed. Their first daughter, Mary Zingsheim (Arndt) was born in 1869, in Albany. Their last child was John, born in Albany in 1873. The 1875 census record lists her father living with her, named Karl Sausen. In 1880, he is not listed. Frank died in 1886, and is buried in Albany at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Anna Maria died on 3 December, 1901, and was buried on December 6, 1901. Their grave marker is small, and level with the ground. Hopefully, more research will bring more answers about this couple. Their posterity is grateful for them.
