Jeanne C. Ballinger (Noble), aged 90, of Sykesville, MD, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2022.

She was born on September 15, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, the eldest of 6 children born to the late Wilber and Julia Gue.
Jeanne attended St. Martin's Catholic High School in Baltimore.
In May of 1952 she married Herbert H. Ballinger who served as an officer in the US Army. They were stationed in Paris, New York, Baltimore, Panama, New Jersey, Arizona, Taiwan and finally settled in Bowie, MD. Once their children were grown, they retired to Ocean Pines in Berlin, MD in 1990.
After Herbert's passing, Jeanne was remarried in July of 1998 to Charles "Carter" Noble and continued to live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland until his death in 2006.

Jeanne was active in the church throughout her adult life as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed golfing and other outdoor activities.

Jeanne is predeceased by two sons Peter H. Ballinger and James K. Ballinger, her brother W. Kenneth Gue, her three sisters Ann Ward, Lois Pfeifer, and Geraldine DeMarco, and her step daughter Sarah Threlfall. She leaves behind one brother, Thomas Gue of Essex, MD; two children: Patricia Stewart of Edgewater, MD and Andrew Ballinger of Fernandina Beach, FL; three step children, Mark Noble of Huntersville, NC, Becky Storck of Owings, MD, and Susan Guare of LaPlata, MD; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 18, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Sykesville, MD. She will be laid to rest in a private service at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
Donations in lieu of flowers should be made to Catholic Charities.
