Anna Catherine Abbott was the daughter of George Henry Abbott and Adelyn Marie Carlson. She was the namesake of her paternal grandmother, Anna Catherine (Bourquin) Abbott (1854-1931).

On Ancestry.com's, "Minnesota, U.S., Births and Christenings Index, 1840-1980", (unnamed) female Abbott, daughter of George Henry Abbott and Adelyn Marie Abbott, was born on 6 August 1900 at 87 S. Robert [Street] in Saint Paul; she was soon named Anna Catherine Abbott.

On the 1910 Census, Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, Anna C. Abbott, age 9, appeared in the household of her parents, George H. and Adelyn M. Abbott.

On the 1920 Census, Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, Anna K. [sic-C.] Abbott, age 18 [sic-19] appeared in the household of her parents, George H. and Adeline [sic-Adelyn] Abbott; she was listed as single.

She married Albert Allen in the early 1920s; the marriage ended ca 1928. The couple had two children together, both sons, namely:

WARREN STANLEY ALLEN (1923-1985) and
DONALD BRICE ALLEN (1928-1948).

She married William Henry Hart, son of Edgar Harvey Hart and Alzoa Ella Johnson [called Ella], ca 1929; the marriage ended in the early 1940s. The couple had three children together, one daughter and two sons, namely:

JOYCE MARION (HART) BROCK (1929-2016),
RICHARD DUANE HART (1931-1995), and
[living son] (1936- ).

On the 1940 Census, San Mateo County, California, Anna C. and William H. Hart resided together; also in the household were Anna's two sons from her previous marriage, Warren and Donald Allen [erroneously listed as Warren and Donald Hart], and Anna's three children with her current husband, Joyce, Richard, and [living] Hart.

She married Manuel Emil Osorio, son of Albert Osorio and Rosa C. Markes, ca 1944; they were married until his death on December 5, 1964. The couple had no children together.

On the 1950 Census, San Mateo County, California, Anna C. and Manuel E. Osorio resided together; also in the household was Anna's son from her previous marriage, Richard D. Hart, who was listed as the stepson of Manuel.

"Anna C. Osorio
Anna C. Osorio, 72, formerly of 550 Stanford Ave., Redwood City, died Sunday at the Hoover Pavilion of Stanford University Hospital, following an extended illness.
A native of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Osorio lived 45 years at the Redwood City address. She had been in a nursing home prior to entering Hoover Pavilion last Thursday.
Mrs. Osorio's husband, Manuel, died in 1965 [sic-1964].
A former employe of S&W Fine Foods, Redwood City, Mrs. Osorio was a member of the Warehouse Food Processors and Production Workers Union Local No. 655, Redwood City.
Survivors include three stepsons [sic-sons], Richard Hart of Redwood City; [living] of San Jose, and Warren Allen of Arlington, Va; a stepdaughter [sic-daughter], Mrs. Joyce Brock of Marshall, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Martin [sic-Martyn] of Tulare, Mrs. Edith Copeland of Petaluma, and Mrs. Ruth Hansen of Tulare; two brothers, Wipp Abbott of St. Paul, Minn., and Bryce [sic-Brice] Abbott of Jackson; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crippen & Flynn Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, followed by burial at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto.
The family prefers memorials be contributions to the Cancer Fund, 1517 S. B St., San Mateo."
