Christian Wake Service at Weber Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church. Interment in New Cathedral Cemetery.

A mass of Christian burial for CHARLES E. SHAWLER, an executive of an alarms system company, will be offered tomorrow at St. Agnes Church. Mr. Shawler, who was 57, died at his home Saturday after a long illness. He and his wife, the former Erva T. Widmeyer, had lived at 734 Braeside Road in Catonsville for 18 years.

Born in New Hope, Ky, Mr. Shawler served in the US Air Force during WWII. It was while stationed at an Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas that Mr. Shawler met his future wife, who was also in the armed forces. They were married March 16, 1946.

Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, a daughter, three sisters, his mother-in-law, Elizabeth B. O'Brian, of Catonsville, and three grandchildren.
