Barbara "Barbie" Bellmon Brooks, 72, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was born October 17, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Odis and Rosa Mae Bellmon.

She was married for fourteen years to Maceo Brooks of little Rock, Arkansas. Barbara graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1967. She enjoyed good home-cooked food, special coffee, watching old movies and spending time with friends and family. She had special affection for kids. Her primary focus of life was the Christian ministry. She worked as much as she could to reach others with the Bible's message of hope.

She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Anderson of Detroit, Michigan and her parents, Odis and Rosa Mae Bellmon of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Survivors: husband, Maceo Brooks of Little Rock, AR; sister, Dorothy Thomas of Little Rock, AR; daughter, Glynis Love of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Michael Lacefield of Nashville, TN, Nicole Watkins, DeShawnna Barmore both of Conyers, GA, James Williams (Nevena) of Raleigh, NC, Brittney Williams and Laurel Tompkins both of Detroit, MI; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held between 1:00 P.M. and 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 18, 2022, using ZOOM online meetings.
