Born on April 19, 1934 in Logansport, IN, she was the eighth of nine children born to the late Ross and Nancy (McLeland) Grandstaff .
On July 14, 1950 in the St. James Lutheran Church, she was married to Estal Wayne Piercy. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1998
Donna had worked part-time for the John J. Hildebrandt Corporation where she made fishing lures.
A faithful and loving Christian woman, Donna was a longtime member of the Yorktown Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, playing video games and watching game shows.
Surviving are three daughters; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by two daughters, Joyce Ann Rose and Sherry Louise Piercy; son-in-law, David Emmons; five brothers - Robert, Lawrence, Charles, Max and Harold Grandstaff; three sisters - Edith King, Agnes Conklin and Irene Garling; grandson, Travis Wayne Emmons; and great-grandson, Riley Wayne Carlson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Racop officiating.
A visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Davis Cemetery near Burnettsville.
