Aldo Joseph Borelli, passed away peacefully on May 28. Aldo was pre-deceased by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Borelli and his son David Borelli McDonald. Aldo's military service in the Army should be remembered as he served our Country. Aldo worked in the automotive industry his entire life. He started working for Canepa Motors in high school, partnership in a Standard gas station, auto mechanic, and then the service manager for J.C. Penny's and the local Toyota dealership. Aldo was truly a motor sports fan, if it had a motor and wheels, he was interested. Aldo and Marilyn rode their motorcycles whenever they could, be it California, Texas or Mexico. They also enjoyed riding their horses Rebel and Chocolate, all around their property in Scotts Valley, where they lived for almost 60 years. Aldo and Marilyn's influence and guidance at SLVHS will be remembered for many years to come.
Aldo is survived by his two children and their families. Daughter and Spouse: Amanda and James Blinn; Grandchild: Herman Blinn; Son and Spouse: Ben and Elizabeth Borelli; Grandchildren and Spouses: Brooke and Easton Borelli Espinoza; Matthew and Victoria Borelli; Anessa and Billy Shahan. He will be laid to rest with military honors at California Central Coast Veteran's Cemetery in Seaside along with his beloved wife Marilyn who preceded him in death this past April.
