Daughter of Finney Bascum and Mary Ann Kessel Painter.∼She was the widow of the late Okey Cleston Casto who died in June 1962. Former residents of Putnam County,Mr. and Mrs. Casto lived on 18-Mile Creek before moving to Dunbar. Surviors: sons, Thomas F. of St. Albans, Robert C. of Malta,Ohio, Luther of Dunbar; daughters, Miss Viola M.Casto of the home, Mrs. Virginia Casto of Monaca, Pa.; brothers Cloyd Painter of Liberty, Estel, Lexie and Ray Painter of Given,Otho Painter of Nitro; sisters. Mrs. Avalee Mangus of Charleston, Mrs.Addie Starcher and Mrs. Pearl Casto of Given, Mrs. Palestine Starcher of Liberty; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Casto maintained memebership in Moss Chapel Church and the Rev. Jess Milnner conducted funeral services there Saturday. Burial in the church cemetery was under he direction of Keller Funeral Home of Dunbar,W.Va.
