The couple resided in Minnesota and Massachusetts during their marriage.
A lifelong love of numbers and a degree in Business Administration from the University of MN led him to work in finance over 59 years until he retired for the third time at age 85. After losing his wife, he moved from Massachusetts to Georgia to reside with daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Danny France. When his eyesight failed, Dick moved to Manor Lake Assisted Living in Athens.
Dick was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, the New England Patriots, and his favorite quarterback, Tom Brady. Hobbies included traveling, eating apple pie, and collecting rings and watches.
A visitation was held Thursday, May 26 at White's Funeral Home, followed by a committal ceremony and burial at St. Michael's Cemetery in Farmington, Minnesota.
