Obituary
"William Hogan, 63, who was electrocuted while at work in Gladewater, on Saturday evening, was brought to Marshall Sunday morning for burial.

Mr. Hogan was a member of the construction gang of the L.E. Meyer Construction Company. He was killed when the wire he was pulling came in contact with a live wire carrying 10,000 volts. Mr. Hogan's son, Zilmon Hogan, of Marshall, was also a member of the construction force. Efforts to resuscitate Hogan proved in vain. Mr. Hogan was a widower. He was born in Mississippi but he had been making his home in Dublin, Texas up to the time he came to work here with his son.

He is survived by two sons, Zilmon Hogan and Emsie Hogan; three brothers; and one sister, Mrs. Jim {Ella Mae} Owens, of Tyler.

The funeral was held at 4 o'clock from Rains & Herndon Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery."
