She attended Grade School and High School in Valders, Wisconsin graduating High School in 1953. In 1954 Rosemary got engaged to her loving husband of 67 years, Jerome Kiefer. In 1955 they married in Clarks Mills Wisconsin and went on to have four children.
Rosemary and Jerome resided for 30 years in Two Rivers, Wisconsin where Rosemary took wonderful care of her homes and children while Jerome ran their business, Kiefer's Service Station. They then were offered a great business opportunity and relocated to Boulder, Colorado where they reside today. Rosemary willingly offered her time to various charities and organizations like The Ladies of St. Marks and St. Vincent DePaul. She always enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, gardening, reading, playing cards, word puzzles, coloring and gambling at which she was very lucky and glad to tell you about it.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Jerome and children Robert, Debra, Gregory and Kaye Lynn. As well as her three grandchildren; Austin (Lyndsay) Jeffers, Julian (Veronika) Jeffers and Alexa (Gwen) Kiefer and her great grandchildren Sofia, Ronin and Saffron Jeffers. She is also survived by her sisters and their husbands Faye (Leo) Riesterer, Margaret (Jerry) Post and Sisters-in-law Alice Waniger, Carol Waniger and Doris (Kiefer) Schultz.
Rosemary was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary Waniger, mother-in-law Pearl (Kiefer Taddy) Buggs, fathers-in-law Paul Kiefer, Norbert Taddy and Ray Buggs, and brothers Francis, Thomas and Charles Waniger, sister-in-law Lois Waniger and brothers-in-law James and Richard Kiefer and Ron Taddy. A Celebration of Life Memorial was held on June 18th by Crist Mortuary in Boulder Colorado. A final resting service and Celebration of Life Memorial is scheduled for Friday, June 24th, 2022 at 1:00pm at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum (Changed from the "Gardens") located at 1500 WI-310 Manitowoc, Wisconsin 54220. Reverend David Pleier will officiate. Nothing is scheduled to follow the service. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cristmortuary.com for the Kiefer family to keep and cherish.
