On Saturday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, the funeral services of the late Mrs. N. H. Ridgely were held at the family residence on South Sixth street. Quite a large attendance was had of the sorrowing friends and relatives of the deceased lady. The floral offerings were many and beautiful in design.
The services were conducted by the Rev. E. A. Larrabee and were strictly in conformity with the Episcopalian rituals. After the services were concluded the casket was borne to the hearse by the following named gentlemen, as pallbearers: Gov. S. M. Cullom, J. A. Jones, Judge S. H. Treat, G. W. Chatterton, Sr., Col. John Williams, Jacob Bunn, C. M. Smith, and the Hon. Milton Hay. The remains were interred in Oak Ridge cemetery.
