Surviving are five sons, Homer and Kenneth of Clyde, Carl of Waterloo, Theodore and Oscar Swanson, both of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Woody of Gastonia, N.C. and Mrs. Thelma S. Dadson of Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Doane and Miss Alice M. Loomis, both of Lincoln, Neb; 24 grandchildren; nine great-granchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
A native of Crete, Neb, Mr. Swanson moved to this area in 1914. She was a member of Seneca Grange 44 in Seneca Falls and a member of the National Grange and was also a 50 year member of the Sincerity Chapter 229, Order of the Eastern Star.
