His wife Linda Hurlburt Scott died March 28, 1833. Surviving him are a son, Walter H. Scott of South Warsaw and 5 grandchildren, a sister, Susan E. Scott of Rochester and 2 brothers, James Scott of Livonia and George Scott of Rochester. Rev. Clayton Fairbanks officiated.
