Betty moved to Long Beach when she was a child and spent the rest of her life here. She met and married Carl Preuss in 1929 and they had 3 sons Dean (deceased) Donald (Ida) and Richard (Judy). Betty was a life time member of Reorganized Latter-Day Saints. She retired from the Long Beach School Cafeteria in the 70's. She led a full life raising her children and spending time with her many friends. Beside her children she is survived by 7 grandchildren, Curtis, Craig, Renee', Debbie, Danny, Donald and Diane; and great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was also dearly loved by her m any nieces and nephews.
Internment was held at Westminster Memorial Park on January 8, 2008. Her enthusiasm for life will be remembered by all.
