SULPHUR -- Services for Herbert Glenn Magby, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cowley-Krien Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Les Townsend officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Magby was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Fletcher, to John and Pearl Jaynes Magby. He died Sept. 20, 2000, in the Norman hospital.
Reared in Sulphur, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas and worked for Bell Helicopter and returned to Murray County after he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1992; and stepdaughter, Rita Miles.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Prall, Enid, and Georgia Roberson, Sulphur; a stepson, Don Miles; and stepdaughter, Linda Royster, both of Fort Worth; two sisters, Bernice Davis, North Carolina, and Gladys Cagle, Sulphur; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nine stepgrandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as bearers.
