Dr. David E. Robbins entered his eternal life on Monday, June 20, 2022. David was born September 1, 1938 and lived his entire life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1956 where he was elected King Daze XXX. David married Loyce Lynch, his junior high sweetheart, in June of 1957 and they raised their family in Tulsa. David graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1960 and began his teaching career as vocal music director at Nathan Hale High School. During his 8 years at Nathan Hale, he earned his Master's Degree in Music Education, also from TU. In 1968 he took a position in the music department of Oral Roberts University where he taught for 35 years. David earned his PhD from North Texas State University in May 1979 and was granted tenure at ORU in August 1980. David retired from ORU in May 2003 with the honorary rank of Professor Emeritus.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Helen Robbins, a daughter, Shari Dawn White, a grandson, Karac Roth Sandifer, a great-grandson, Keylan JuWuan Eaton. [Living individuals names omitted]

Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn, Tulsa. A Private Family Service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
