She is also survived by a daughter Heather Bloyer and her husband Steven Jr. of Fairmont; two grandchildren Alexis Harvey of Pittsburgh, PA and Jared Bloyer of Fairmont, WV; two great grandchildren Jaxson Ends and his father Cole and Indigo Eckels and a brother-in-law Bill Prince of Fairmont, WV.
She was also preceded in death by a brother David Arthur and a sister Judith Ann Prince.
Janet graduated from Fairmont Senior High School. She kept close with several of her class mates and enjoyed their luncheon meetings. She retired from the Department of Social Service as a head of income maintenance in Hagerstown, MD.
She was gifted with her hands as she made quilts for family members and spent time making crafts. She had a green thumb when it came to gardening and loved to share her produce with others. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street on Friday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roy Weese presiding. The interment will be held at 2:00 PM at the Wadestown Cemetery, Monongalia County. The Frey family has entrusted the care and arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel.
