Leonard, was the essence of all things kind and caring. His very presence spoke of concern for others. His sweet disposition was manifested through his bright smile he was indeed a bright light. He truly believed in the goodness of God and even during Leonard's own ups and downs he still held close to his heart the faithfulness of God. To know Leonard was to love him.
Leonard is survived by brothers Edward Coleman and his wife Fran, Chester Coleman and his wife Ginger, Charles Randall Coleman and his wife Joann; sisters Norman Lea Ray and her husband David, Delhrea Dotson, Anna Merle Delong and her husband Eddie, Alma Vearl Casey and her husband Jimmy.
Also surviving Leonard are a host of nieces, nephews, beloved family members and friends.
The family will begin receiving friends on Monday November 22, 2021 in the Jamboree Church of God, 36487 KY ST HWY 194 Phelps, KY 41553 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Services honoring the life of Leonard will be conducted on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Jamboree Church of God with Revs. Benny Freeman and Larry Blackburn officiating and Joseph Compton reading the eulogy. Burial will then follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery of Beech Creek of Jamboree, KY With family and friends serving as pallbearers.
