In 1917, Piercie's son William died in Bell Co., KY. His brother-in-law William Partin was informant for his death.

Piercie remarried to Isaac Gibson on 31 Dec 1919, in Greasy Creek (or Tinsley), Bell Co., KY.

Piercie's death certificate gives her birth date as 30 Jun 1864, June 30th being the same day she died. The year is too early, as indicated by census records, and the 1900 census indicates she was more likely born in March.
