Colonel Allen V. Johnson, D.S.O. Son of General Sir Charles C. and Lady Jemima (Martin) Johnson. Married Angela Mary (Hibbert) Kenna, the widow of another army officer, on April 23, 1919 at Kensington, London, England. He was educated at Wellington College and Sandhurst and later was commissioned into the Royal Fusiliers. In 1904 he took part in the Tibet Expedition. During Word War I he was wounded three times, mentioned in dispatches and awarded the Distinguished Service Order. Col. Johnson and his wife were very active in local affairs and organizations.
