Gerald "Jerry" Earl Devroy passed away on June 22, 2022 with his family by his side. Jerry was born on September 5, 1934, in Green Bay, to the late Ray and Anna Devroy.

He spent the first 10 years of his life playing and fishing along the Suamico river in Suamico.

In 1944 they moved to the farm on Hale Rd and for the rest of his life, "Down Below" was his favorite place to be. He attended Peshtigo High School and graduated in 1952.

On August 28, 1954 he married his high school sweetheart, the former Marion Miller.

In 1957 he was drafted into the Army and was assigned to the 864th Engineer Battalion. He spent time in Texas and overseas in France and Lebanon.

Upon returning home from the Army, he and Marion built their home on Hale Rd. and spent the next 62 years raising a family and living there. Throughout his life the most important thing to him was always his family.

Jerry loved fishing. Especially trout fishing. He knew and fished almost every trout stream in Marinette County. His favorite activity by far was deer hunting. He would look forward to deer season all year.

He never missed an opening day of deer season except for the two years he was in the Army. He even hunted in 2021 and shot his last deer in 2018.

Jerry is survived by his wife, of 68 years, Marion;

a son Brian (Christy) Devroy of Peshtigo, WI;

a daughter Carol (Paul) Massoni of Rapid City, SD;

Grandchildren: Erin (John) Schwartz of Pierre, SD, Anna Massoni of Hayward WI, and Vince Massoni of Watertown, SD.

Three Great grandchildren: Jonah, Isabella, and Mason Schwartz;

daughter in law Darcy Cashatt,

and many loved Nieces and Nephews.
