Joseph II Guernsey Garnsey was born on 23 Apr 1695, in Milford, Connecticut. His father, Joseph I 1674-1754), was 21 and his mother, Elizabeth Disbrow (1676-1753) was 19. He married Rachel Merchant (1706-1794) in Jan 1727 in Waterbury, Connecticut. They had nine children in 16 years. He died on 23 Aug 1764, in Waterbury, Connecticut, at the age of 69, and was buried at Old Watertown Cemetery in Watertown, Litchfield, Connecticut.
