James (Jim) Tripp Roffee, a resident of California for more than 30 years and of Joshua Tree for 1 1/2 years, died from a heart attack Nov. 22, 2013, at Desert Regional Medical Center. He was 69 years old.
The son of Earl Eugene Roffee and Margaret Maud Tripp, he was born May 11, 1944, in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He worked for many years with San Bernardino Retirement Homes before retiring.
He loved his dogs, Angel (deceased), Flora and Pepper.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Roffee will be buried at Joshua Tree Memorial Gardens.
