Daniel M. Pankratz, of Manitowoc, passed away at his residence on Monday June 27, 2022. He was born March 8, 1941in Manitowoc, son of the late Bernard C. and Hilda (Einberger) Pankratz. Daniel graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1959. He served in the United States Army with the 377th Ordinance Co. of Manitowoc for six years and also was stationed in Korea for several months. On October 9, 1965, he married Barbara Hutchison at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. Daniel was employed for 44 years beginning in 1959 with the Kaufman Manufacturing Co. as a Systems Engineer. He is the past President of the Wisconsin Sports Car Club and a past Trustee at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. Survivors include his wife: Barbara of Manitowoc, one brother: Robert Pankratz; one sister-in-law: Virginia Pankratz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Marjorie Bushman; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: William & Marion Pankratz, Bernard (Skip) Pankratz, and Sandra Pankratz. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at St. Thomas the Apostle, 8100 Brunner Rd, Newton. Rev. David Beaudry will Officiate the Mass of Christian burial, burial of his remains will follow at the parish cemetery. Family and friends can call at the church from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location is assisting the family.
