Chester Wayne Boston, son of ---------- of Greensburg and the late Mr. Jackie Neal Boston, was born on Tuesday, May 30, 1978 in Taylor County, and departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home in Greensburg. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He also volunteered at the food pantry in his free time. Besides his mother, he is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law: four sisters and three brothers-in-law: and host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. He had two dogs that were his best companions: Gidgett & Roscoe.
Mr. Boston was also preceded in death by a sister: Birdie Beatrice Boston. The funeral services for Mr. Chester Wayne Boston will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Bowles Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be held after 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday until time of the service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
