NOLA IRENE OVERHOLT (FLOYD) Nola Irene Overholt (Floyd) passed away April 30th 2022, in Las Vegas. "Sam" as she was known by her friends, was born November 10, 1931 to Warren and Melba Floyd in Lake County, California. In 1937 she went to the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco with her parents and fell in love with the Golden Gate and Vintage San Francisco, as was evident by her home. Nola loved her trees, landscaping, orchids and the horse races. She lived in Pahrump for 26 years. Nola is survived by daughter Patti Bell (Steve)Pahrump, Nevada, Daughter-in-law Vickie Overholt, Apple Valley, California, Grandsons, Jason Bell and Jacob Overholt, Granddaughter Carrie Overholt. She was preceded in death by her son Warren Overholt, and step-son Michael Overholt. Nola will be laid to rest in her family cemetery in Lower Lake, California. As per her request there will be no services "She did it her way"
