Charles Cornelius Beasley, 71, of Alexandria, died in a local hospital today, Oct. 15, 1952 at 1:45 a. m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Beasley of Alexandria; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Woodall of Pineville, Mrs. Ruby Norris, New Orleans, Mrs. Annie Dufour of Alexandria, Mrs. Betty Cable of Blountville, Tenn., and Mrs. Willie Nichols of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, B. C. Beasley of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Sgt. Wilbur Beasley of Camp Polk; one brother, J. C.. Beasley of Roseland, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Tarver of Tylertown, Miss., and Mrs. Mollis Lynch of Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL OF CHARLES C. BEASLEY
Funeral services for Charles C. Beasley were held Friday, Oct. 17, 1952 at 2 p.m. at the First Nazerene Church with Revs. J. B. Stafford, L.H. King and J. B. McCann officiating. Interment was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kramer Funeral Home. Pallbearers were E. Bennett, Chester Fickerley, P. J. Texada, B. F. Wall, W. A. Gatlin and Bennett Edwards.
