William H. Flick, 55, a business man of Chelan and member of a pioneer family here, died in a plane crash Saturday near Vernon, B.C.

His son-in-law, Larry Hart of Redmond, also was killed in the crash.

Mr. Flick was born April 26, 1914, at Chelan, and was graduated from high school here. On Jan. 15, 1941, he married Shirley Law in Wenatchee.

From 1941 until 1953 he worked as a blacksmith for Pacific Car and Foundry at Renton.

Surviving are: his widow; his son, Robert at home; his daughter, Mrs. Larry Hart, Redmond; and two grandchildren.
