Robert W. Annis , Sr., 89, of Winchester Court, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 10:12 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, in Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1909, in South Bend, Ind., to Lester and Hazel (Nivens) Annis .
In June 1928, in South Bend, he married Reba Margaret Troutwine, who died on March 14, 1980.
He is survived by two sons, Robert W. (Kathryn) Annis , Jr., and Larry L. (Beverly) Annis , both of Mishawaka; and by six grandchildren, Jeffrey L., Martin W., Tracy M., Jason L., Pamela J. and David L. Annis .
Mr. Annis was retired from the Studebaker Corporation, and was a 32nd Degree Mason belonging to the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, with Rev. Donald Neely officiating
Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Southlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Central Indiana Food Bank, 216 W. Ewing, South Bend, IN 46613; or to the Rotary Club of South Bend Charitable Foundation.
