Joyce Ann Martin, 48, Sugar Grove, died Friday, July 14, 2000, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Joyce was a secretary in the Lancaster Fire Prevention Bureau and was a graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1970.
She is survived by her mother, Leathie L. Martin of Sugar Grove; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and David Boden of Concord; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Glenda Martin of Lancaster, Marrill Ray and Karen Martin of Amanda, Vance and Candy Martin of Circleville, and Ronald and Pam Martin of Amanda; several nieces and nephews; her best friend and companion, Michael Harris; and her many friends and co-workers on the Lancaster Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pearl Martin.
A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, with the Rev. David Spaulding officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to a charity of choice in Joyce's memory.
