Eva Linella Burton (Dunigan) passed from this life on July 4th, 2022.
She was born in Providence, RI, July 17, 1958 to Linuel and Patsy Dunigan.

She graduated from Nettleton High School (Arkansas) class of 1976 and the Northwest Arkansas Vo-Tech School in 1978.

Linella was truly a person with a heart of gold. Kind, loving, caring and considerate. Her siblings will joke she was bossy, fussy and ornery at times but she was the first to say I'm sorry. Linella was the crafting queen. She was a very good artist and had the ability to become fantastic at any crafting project she put her hands too. The family all have something she made for them, made all the more precious because they were handmade. She met the jelly to her peanut butter Mike Burton, and they were married June 25, 1983, they both loved RenFairs, traveling, Arkansas Razorback Hockey, Wrestling, spoiling kids and tooling around in their convertible Falcon. Linella would give you the shirt off her back, she might complain a bit, but bottom line is you had a new shirt to wear. You needed help, she and Mike were there in short order. She could light up a room in seconds with her smile and laughter. She chauffeured her Papaw many miles, traveling and probably getting into trouble we never heard about.

Linella obeyed the gospel 14 July 1972 and was a lifelong member of the church of Christ.

Linella is preceded in death by her father, Linuel Dunigan and one nephew Jonathan Dunigan (KIA).

She is survived by her mother, Patsy Dunigan. One brother James Dunigan (Sharon), 2 sisters, Debarah Dornan (Kirk) and Trinia Schafer (John). Donia Watson rounds out the family. While a first cousin she is no less than a sister to us all. The nieces and nephews she "mother henned" are as follows Jason, Jonathan and Jasmine Dunigan. Jeremy and Brandon Dornan. Amanda and Becky Schafer and Heather Steinke. Her great nieces and nephews who she showed no less love to are Liam Dunigan: Aubrey, Kenley, Jack and Ryleigh Dornan: Devon, Olivia, Alyssa, Hailey, Ariana, Dmitri and Elliott Steinke. All from Northwest Arkansas. Linella truly loved all her nieces and nephews and they all loved her back and she was their beloved Nanny.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville Arkansas (Center Street) on July 14th, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be James Dunigan. Honorary Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
